French-Speaking Film Festival

The French-Speaking Film Festival (FFA, Festival du film francophone d’Angoulême) has been taking over cinema screens and public spaces in Angoulême for nearly 20 years now.

Supported by the town of Angoulême, the GrandAngoulême Urban Area, the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region and private partners, the festival promotes popular and sophisticated cinema with films from the past and present, as well as acting as a springboard for talents of tomorrow.

There are several prizes up for grabs too, with the winners being chosen by a jury and the public respectively.

Taking place at the end of the summer period, the festival appeals to professionals and amateurs, newcomers and film buffs alike.
