Master's Programmes

The following information applies to:

  • Master’s degree in Audiovisual, Digital Interactive Media and Video Games
  • International Master’s degree in Video Games and Digital Interactive Media

Internship Calendar

  • First Year:
    • Minimum: 1 month / Maximum: 2 months
    • Between 1st July – 31st August (of the academic year)
  • Second Year
    • Minimum: 4 months (88 working days / 616 hours) / Maximum: 6 months (132 working days / 924 hours)
    • Between 1st March – 31st August (of the academic year)

Internship Objectives

  • First Year
    • This introductory internship allows students to have their first practical experience in a multi-disciplinary team and to discover a working environment.
    • Students complete this internship either in a company or a research laboratory in France or abroad.
  • Second Year
    • The internship allows students to gain experience in the professional field of production or research.
    • It allows them to apply the skills and knowledge that they have gained throughout the master's degree in real-life conditions related to the development or research of video games and digital interactive media.
    • Students complete this internship either in a company or a research laboratory in France or abroad.

Post-Master's Programme

The following information applies to:

Post-Master’s degree in Designing of Immersive, Interactive and Playful Experiences for Video Games, Culture and Communication

Internship Calendar for Classic Pathway (Students enrolled full-time)

  • Minimum: 4 months (88 working days / 616 hours) / Maximum: 6 months (132 working days / 924 hours)
  • Between 18th March 2026 – 4th December 2026

Internship Objectives

Pedagogical Goals

  • Supervise the development of interactive digital experiences
  • Help students to continually improve the projects

Content

  • Full-time working between 4 and 6 months in a company in the field of fun, interactive experience development
  • Coaching and support for research projects

Assessment

Write a piece of applied research work ("professional thesis") individually, with a link to possible future changes to your career trajectory (evolution of technology, methodologies and of the sector).

Professional Fields

Interns usually work as Graphic Designers, Programmers, Game Designers and Project Managers.

Employers can range from Digital Communication Agencies, Multimedia Design Studios, Video Game Studios, Monitoring Departments, Innovation and New Media Departments of major TV channels or software publishers, Interactive Marketing Consultancy Firms and companies in the serious game and e-Learning sectors.
