Wistfulware

Wistfulware is a studio which has been developing video games since 2021. We have our heart set on creating games which pay tribute to games which left their marl on us, as well as bringing a new dimension to the experience, whether it be in terms of history, gameplay or aesthetic. We really want every member of our team to be satisfied and happy in their domain, all while creating an end product which is true to our project vision.

We are currently developing MAELSTRÖM LEGACY : Le Mystère Tesla, a cross between a puzzle game and an aim and shoot game. Hayao Maelström, a young detective, must lead an investigation on the disappearance of the famous scientist, Nikola Tesla. He is helped by Alpina, his four-legged companion. In this game, which is full of riddles and action, the player is transported to a steampunk Paris in the 1940s.

The game is a tribute to some well-known games, such as Professor Layton and Ace Attorney, but also to a scientist who few people know about, Nikola Tesla.

We hope the game will be released on Steam at the beginning of 2025.
